Predict10n Web App
Predict10n is a weekly Premier League prediction game where players pay £10 to choose the outcomes of all ten fixtures in a gameweek. A correct 10/10 wins the jackpot; otherwise, the top performer takes half the pot and the rest rolls over. I designed the entire product as a responsive web app for both desktop and mobile, turning a complex betting mechanic into a simple, transparent experience.
MY ROLE
Product Designer (end-to-end) + PM partner
METHODS USED
Discovery, Competitor Analysis, UX Strategy, Systems Thinking, User Flows, Information Architecture, Responsive Web Design, UI Design, MVP Prioritisation
The Core Challenge
Predict10n required presenting a large amount of information at once — ten fixtures, multiple entries, jackpot totals, gameweek pot, countdown timers, and pick states. The key challenge was making this feel intuitive rather than overwhelming, while ensuring users always understood their entries and the lock time. The product needed a structure that communicated everything instantly, especially with real money involved.
Platform Architecture & UX Strategy
Predict10n is designed around a simple weekly loop: enter, predict, pay, and track. The Predict10n Landing Page brings all key information into one place — the upcoming gameweek, how the game works, prize details — with a clear call-to-action that leads players straight into making their first entry.
The flow on the right shows how this structure supports the full journey: from the first landing interaction, through picks, review, payment, and into My Skins for managing and editing entries. The result is a consistent, repeatable rhythm players follow every gameweek.

Content, Competitor & UX Analysis
I analysed platforms like Sky Bet, bet365, Super 6, Opta, Colossus Bets and other football prediction products to understand what users already recognise as standard across fixtures, selections, live states and reward framing. The goal wasn’t to copy UI, but to identify familiar patterns, remove friction, and benchmark expectations for speed and clarity. This helped shape a cleaner, faster and more intuitive weekly flow for Predict10n.
Rapid Concept Exploration with AI
At this point, I used AI tools to quickly explore different layout directions before refining the product into its final form. Reviewing these variations helped clarify what worked, what didn’t, and which directions aligned with real user behaviour.

The Gameplay Design
The final design brings together the strongest ideas from the exploration phase and refines them into a clear, consistent product experience. Every element was simplified to support quick decision-making and a predictable weekly rhythm.
This meets the needs of both casual players and experienced bettors, giving them a fast, trustworthy, and enjoyable weekly prediction experience.

Key Interaction Highlights
Predict10n’s core interactions were designed to make the weekly flow feel fast, predictable, and frictionless. Each step— from landing to picks, payment, and managing entries — supports quick decision-making while staying consistent and repeatable every gameweek.

The review & payment flow was streamlined for speed and clarity. Players can quickly review their predictions, make adjustments, and complete payment in a few predictable steps, reducing friction and supporting last-minute decision-making before kickoff.

Account creation was designed to be as lightweight as possible. New users can onboard with minimal steps, while returning players can log in instantly — keeping the focus on playing rather than managing credentials.

My Skins provides a simple, organised space for managing active entries. Players can view, edit, and track their predictions throughout the gameweek, creating a smooth post-entry experience that fits naturally into the weekly rhythm.

Design System
I created a responsive design system built around flexible cards, strong typography, and clear colour-coded states. Components like buttons, inputs, and icons were designed to scale seamlessly across mobile and desktop, keeping interactions consistent while giving the product a bold, recognisable identity.

Lay the foundation for future prediction-based game modes.
What I Learned
This project taught me how to take a set of informal game rules and shape them into a structured, scalable product ready for development. I learned the value of designing a clear weekly loop to drive engagement, and how to balance accessibility for new players with depth for regular ones. Creating a flexible component set reinforced the importance of consistency across devices, while close collaboration with stakeholders and engineering ensured the final designs were feasible and ready for handover into build.
